Is it just me or is it about 40 degrees cooler than it has been? Perfect time to take a stroll through the Austin Farmers’ Market Saturday morning.
Bell peppers are in! Scott Arbor Farm has them in spades (or should I say, rainbows). Scott Arbor Farm is a family operation located in Seguin, TX. They have been growing for over 30 years and are certified organic. Josh let me know that they have Italian Sweet, Yellow, Red and Orange going for $3.50/lb.
They will be harvesting till the first frost of the year. Can’t make it to the market? Scott Arbor has a CSA program. They can bring the Bells to you.
