Imported Coke

I’m more of a Dr. Pepper guy, but I do love some imported Coke. Refresco indeed. More and more places around town are selling it (Royal Blue, HEB, Central Market, Fiesta). It’s more expensive than your average can of pop, but the taste and the cool bottle more than make up for it. The main difference between domestic and imported is the sweetener. Domestic Coke uses High Fructose Corn Syrup (yummy!). Coke from Mexico still uses Cane Sugar. It has a sweetness that you don’t seem to get from corn (!?!). Corn as a sweetener? I prefer it grilled on the cobb.
