It was a great weekend. Did you have fun? Lots going on (there was even a football game! We won). The League of Bicycle Voters/New Belgium Brewing film series took over Triangle Park.
Food was flown in by Flying Saucer, bicycles everywhere and the young Wilson brothers were on the big screen in Bottle Rocket. Anytime you have the option to attend an event with an inflatable movie screen, make the time.
Saturday, we hit the St. Elias Mediterranean Festival. It was my first time to this long standing event (one out of seventy seven isn’t a bad average). I have been to themed street festivals in the past and most are half-hearted, but this was the real deal. Gyros, belly dancing and an Opa spinning DJ (what?). The senior crowd rocked the house! Wine by the bottle, dancing in circles. Crazy good time.
