Horrible time for a hunger strike. I can’t set foot in my yard without tripping over food. Paper skin Pecans are popping under my feet like a six year old with a cap gun. The dog has consumed so many he is currently in a nut comma.
I’m not sure what to do with all these Persimmons. They look like outlaw tomatoes. BLP sandwich?
Persimmons add a nice touch of sweetness to curries! I like just peeling them and eating them plain.
Hi..are there any places that are open to the public (parks, walking trails) where I can gather some pecans? I don’t want someone chasing me out of their front yard for stealing nuts. Thanks!
I bet there is. I’d start on the Shoal Creek Greenbelt. Look for packs of fat squirrels.
