They are talking about what we already knew. Fonda San Miguel is top of class Mexican food. I am sure La Condesa was high up on the list, also. Maybe Austin should have two of the top spots? I’m just saying. It’s not like I’m biased or anything.

Yay, Fonda! I love them. I have to completely disagree with any mention of Curra’s Grill or Manuel’s in a “best of” issue.
Unfortunately, the cover of this issue shows a plate of queso, a Tex-Mex aperitif. If they wanted something more authentic, a great chile en nogada or even a plate of queso fundido con chorizo could have been equally evocative.
I agree. The cover does have good color contrast. That’s probably what they were eying.
