Elevated Artisanal Goods at HOPE Farmers Market

Skyler of Elevated Artisanal Goods

Sunday morning, in the drizzling rain, I headed down to HOPE Farmers’ Market and I believe this woman may have saved my life. With the weather like it is, soup is a miracle drug. Skyler and Blake at Elevated Artisanal Goods had four of their specialty soups on hand: Smoked Tomato, Roasted Carrot & Fennel and Fall Veggie Potage. All were very good, but the Bleu Mushroom was fantastic.

Elevated Artisanal Soups

Soups are available chilled or hot by the cup ($5). Elevated is new to the Austin food scene, only a few months old, but they have roots here. Blake is formerly of 34th Street Cafe.

Other offerings include a creamy lemon cow’s milk cheese and a truffled potato salad. You can pick up all their products at farmers’ markets in Bastrop (Friday), Sunset (Saturday) and HOPE (Sunday). I am digging these guys and am definitely digging HOPE Farmers’ Market. A market on Sunday is a no-brainer and this one has a nice mix of vendors and a casual feel. When buying fresh produce, I’ll take rustic buildings and a grassy yard over asphalt or a concrete parking lot any day.

  1. Hello Christian!

Thanks so much for your compliments on our food! Glad you enjoyed the Bleu Mushroom soup. Wanted to tell you that the soups were actually the Smoked Tomato, Roasted Carrot & Fennel and Fall Veggie Potage. I am delighted to know about your site, and will frequent it to see what’s hot in Austin!

    Thanks again, my friend!

  2. I’m diggin the Hope Farmers Mkt a whole lot too. We sell our soap there, and I’m really enjoying the laid back atmosphere and all the friendly folks. A friend brought me some soup last week and it was delish.
