Eat Next To A Fireplace: Moonshine

Moonshine Fireplace

It’s cold. But, you have to keep eating. So, what’s better than eating next to a fireplace? If your answer is ‘nothing’, you are correct. Moonshine has some of the best fireplaces in town. That’s right, more than one. Their outside bar is one of the coziest spots in town right now. The structure that houses their outdoor bar is one of the oldest in Austin. The original fireplace has been converted to gas, so no need to worry about popping and hissing. Cocktails and open flames are a match made in heaven.

Moonshine Patio Fireplace

Moonshine’s patio also has a fireplace. This one is wood burning and much larger. It’s a newer and fantastic addition to the property. When they really fire it up, sitting outside with the temps in the 30’s shouldn’t be a problem. To top it off, they also have a fire pit! No word on whether they will let you cook your own food. Careful with that poker!

Happy Hour :  3pm – 6:30pm : $4 Patio Cocktails, $2 Lone Star, $4 Reds and Whites by the glass, 1/2 off Apps.
