Pizza Night: Tuna Edition

Tuna Sausage Pizza

Two words: Tuna Sausage. Two more: Crazy good. Charles from Cafe Josie stopped by with the surprise topping. The Godfather was stripped of it’s Italian Sausage and Smoked Mozzarella. The Smoked Tuna Sausage went on with regular Mozzarella.

Pizza Night

Great crowd assembled to chow down pie and drink some wine. Above is a picture of a few who were blocking me from my oven: Chris Brousard, James Ledoux, Jodi Bart from Tasty Touring, Rachel and Logan from Boots In the Oven and Adam Holzband.

  1. Your pizza is crazy-delicious. Thank you for teaching me how to handle dough and the importance of topping restraint. Every last bite was perfect. Also, when you invite food bloggers to your house ya gotta expect them to congregate where the FOOD is! Thanks again for including us.

  2. I’m still waiting on mine to be delivered! If it doesn’t show up after one more day it’s free. And no tip!

Definitely agree with the comment about “topping restraint”. Having grown up with Little Caesars Pizza Night in our house every week, I had thought that there was no such thing as too much cheese on a pizza. Thank you for showing us the way.

  3. Whoa, that camera guy was tipsy! The sign of yet another good party. Thanks, indeed, to Charles for the crazy delicious smoked tuna sausage. That being said, I probably still like the original godfather better. Call me a “traditionalist” I guess. Kinda. Someday Christian will find some local pepperoni so we can go totally traditional. Heh.

  4. what does the tuna sausage taste like? is it rich and meaty or lighter and dare i ask, fishy?
