Everything Has Changed Forever

And, just like that it happened. Complete anarchy. Crumbling of our city as we know it. The City just passed six new requirements for mobile vendors. The vote was a rocky split, purely down party lines. Wait, no. Scratch that. The vote was 7-0.

Mobile Food Vendors will be required to:

Provide proof of a state sales tax permit.

Pass a Fire Department inspection.

Document use of central food preparation facilities.

Provide notarized agreement from the facilities.

Provide an itinerary of truck routes.

Provide written permission for employees to use restrooms at
businesses from which the vendors lease space.

  1. You act like that is a bad thing? Do you know how many regulations there are on restaurants?

  2. If they pass a health and safety inspection, why does the food need to be reppared at a central kitchen?

  3. Provide an itinerary of truck routes? Why does big brother need to know where the trucks are going?

Central kitchen prep? Why do this if the truck can pass health inspections?

Jeez, it’s a shame people don’t realize just how ridiculous government strangulation of every corner of our lives has become.
