New Favorite Blend at the Embassy
This is a view that I have grown familiar with lately. I’m a tea drinker, but with the weather like it is, I have been hitting it pretty hard. I’m sure there is a program somewhere that can help me. My current new favorite of the moment is the Tea Embassy’s new Breakfast blend. It’s not as strong as their C.S. Lewis and has a subtle grassy flavor. Tasty, it keeps me worm.

We like Ruhlman. We like that he hangs with Keller and Bourdain. We like he has butchering as a hobby. We like that he lives in Cleveland. If you missed his last book, it is about cooking ratios. It’s called “Ratio”. That’s cool. Say you want all that juicy ratio info, but hate books? No problem. Ruhlman just went and stuffed all that papery goodness into your iPhone.
Very Old Cookies
My grandmother passed this recipe down to me. There was always a jar on her kitchen counter that you could dip into and find a few at the bottom. Affectionately called “Rocks”, they were my grandfathers favorite. His mother started making them for him in 1948, but the recipe goes back to the 1920’s.
