Slide on over to the age old institution that is the Austin Chronicle and lend your voice to the 2010 restaurant poll. Some lucky restaurants will be able to hang a tarp in their establishment next month because you did. To be honest, this usually boils down to a beauty contest (let’s not let that stop us from pushing our girl to the front). Not that you asked, but… Austin Food Journal recommends:

• Favorite Restaurant – Uchi (still on top of it’s game)
• Best New Restaurant – La Condesa (I don’t care that they are 14 months old, they still deserve it)
• Best Chef – Deegan McClung (Jeffrey’s rises from the dead)
• Best Service/Waitstaff – Fonda San Miguel (great bartenders and staff)
• Best Trailer – Garaj Mahal (I don’t even like Indian food)
