Year of the Goat

Jesse is fighting the good fight. I love what he just had to say about an upcoming Dai Due event at Hotel Saint Cecilia, serving (wait for it) goat:

… goat is the most consumed meat in the world, and goats absolutely thrive in our region. If I may add another good point, let me say that if you’re going to eat something, you should eat it all, be it a turnip or in our case, a goat. Since we’re adding points, lets also say that the best way to reclaim our local foodways is to diversify our consumption of vegetables and meats, while simultaneously addressing some of our food prejudices and fears.
