I posted this before, but seeing that it’s “Go Time”, I thought I would give you the scoop again. I spoke with Jeff Blank (Hudson’s on the Bend) who is coordinating the food vendors for the C3 event. He’s bringing back the classic Hot & Crunchy Cone and will have a new item, the Purple Pig Cone. Slow braised, pulled pork with purple slaw and a mustard/horseradish sauce. Jeff said that some of the new offerings this year come from Louie’s 106 (cold pastas), The Belmont (pressed Cuban sandwiches) and the Austin institution that is Torchy’s Tacos. Most to all vendors are accepting cash only, but there are ATM’s all over the event.
