UPDATE: (File under Hire From Within.) Looks like Fonda alum Jeff Martinez will be getting the nod for the new head Chef position.
Well, that was quick. After years at Jeffrey’s, Chef Alma Alcocer-Thomas’ switch to Fonda San Miguel only lasted months. Original partner and Chef Miguel Ravago is back from Spain and in the kitchen until further notice. Sometimes it seems that the only thing constant in restaurant kitchens is change.

So, that’s weird. What happened to the Jeffrey’s gal? I hadn’t eaten there while she was in charge, so I’m unaware of any problems that might have existed. Any inside info?
