AFJ Giveaway: Rum Dinner at Jack Allen’s Kitchen

The gracious folks over at Jack Allen’s Kitchen have given us two tickets for their upcoming Rum dinner. If you haven’t been yet, Jack Allen’s is the homespun, fine dining establishment in Oak Hill, just past the “Y”, up Highway 71. Good food, cool bars (inside and outside on their patio by the creek). Below is one of their signature drinks, Pepperita (Treaty Oak Rum, Agave nectar, fresh lime, jalapeno).

This dinner is on April 6th at 7pm (Tuesday night). It will be a five course Quail tasting with pairings of Treaty Oak Rum mixed by David Alan of Tipsy Texan. And, because you’re special, they are throwing in a autographed bottle of Treaty Oak Rum!

First Course –
Blue Corn Crusted Quail with Tomato Aioli and Cilantro Aioli Bella Verdi farms micro greens
Second Course –
Achiote Grilled Quail with Robert’s Garden Green Garlic Sauce and Quinoa Pilaf
Third Course –
Spicy Quail Ropa Viega, Shredded Quail,manchego corn cake and marinated tomatoes
Fourth Course –
Pecan Smoked BBQ Quail with Chipotle Tamarind Sauce and Pickled Beet Salad
Fifth Course –
Tres Leches and rum spiked sponge cake

Entries accepted starting 9am, March 31nd, 2010 through 9am, April  4th, 2010. I’ll use www.random.org to select the winner. One entry only per person. Your email address will remain private. I just need it to find you when you win.
