If you are asking yourself the first question more, then you should check out the Heart O’ Texas Orchid Society’s 38th Annual Orchid Show & Sale this weekend at Zilker Gardens. You could pick up a Vanilla planifolia, the vining orchid that produces the vanilla bean. Mine grew so fast it took over the whole side of my house (your mileage may vary).
