Restaurant Review: P. Terry’s

The drive through. In a time honored American tradition, I didn’t have time to go to sit in P. Terry’s tonight (3303 N Lamar), so I circled around and picked up some to-go. I know, to-go is inherently risky. But, what the heck, right? I ordered simply: a double burger, a veg burger and some fries. Nothing else. Wouldn’t want to complicate things. All and all, it came out well. Some witty banter from my young window server, correct order in an acceptable amount of time.

Fries: thin and crispy. Can’t say anything bad. For their size, they were very good. Some like a fatter cut (so there is more fluff on the inside). But, no sogginess or dryness. Even after transport. Kudos.

Burger: tasty fine. I like the trend of healthy burger stands. P. Terry’s is in the hunt.

Multiple-locations around town, good service, tasty product. A welcome addition to the fast food burger scene.
