Sausage Pie with Smoked Mozzarella. I had to go with Pederson’s Breakfast sausage instead of the Sage version. Central Market has not been stocking it for some time. I checked Whole Foods and they didn’t have it either. I’ll need to poke around and see what’s up. Sage sausage rocks the house. If I can’t find some, I may need to break out the grinder.
I love sage sausage! I bought some last week at the Westgate Central Market location. They had Jimmy Dean and another brand. Used it to add some flavor to a roasted pumpkin soup.
