Somebody Is Thinking

hope farmers market

It’s kind of nuts to think that Austin has three of four major farmers markets, all occurring on Saturday, and none on Sunday. Who came up with that plan? In fact, Saturday is a wash for most of us with other events. I think they should all be on Sunday. Well, someone got my memo. We have a new farmers market and it is on…SUNDAY. Hope Farmers Market is on E 5th at Waller St. on the East side, Sundays 10am – 3pm.

Farmers include: Engle Farm, Finca Pura Vida, Loncito Lamb, McKemie Homegrown Farm, Rain Lily Farms, Thunderheart Bison.

Prepared food: Buddha’s Brew, Cafe Mundi, Daily Juice, East Side Show Room, Full English Food, GoodPops, Hot Rock’n & Pop’n Kettle Corn, Lala’s Lemonade, Kala’s Kuisine, Keep it Simple Silly (KISS), Kocurek Family Artisanal Charcuterie, Papa’s Nubbins, SESA Tea and Texas French Bread.

There will also be music, art, yoga and more. Organized by HOPE Campaign, Finca Pura Vida, Daily Juice Co., Café Mundi, Nomad Sounds, Big Red Sun, Graphic Glass Studios, Empower Yoga, Jewel Magazine and Austin AMP.
