I named this pie the Polka Dot because of cherry tomatoes on top. I had been using those tomatoes that come on a vine, in a red mesh bag. They are good, but something else caught my eye: Sunset Gourmet Medley. It’s a mix of different colors and sizes of cherry tomatoes. The flavors are sweeter and the mix of color adds a little more pop to the top of the pie. I picked these up at Central Market.
