One of the biggest grocery store crimes is the price of herbs. Six bucks for a small glass jar of Oregano? Is that a joke? Is there a hidden camera filming my disgust? I have this stuff growing as ground cover in my yard! You should be ashamed of yourself (Spice Islands, I’m looking at you).

Agreed! I always laugh seeing Rosemary at the supermarket for $4 a bunch, then walk outside and see the car park lined with bushes of the stuff.
I could not agree more. At least CM has the bulk herb section now so you can walk away with $.14 worth of herbs and feel smug.
Just got 1/2 pound of sea salt for $1.87. Living the dream. Robb my herbs if you need to.
Yeah, I suppose we really need to jar a bunch of the extra stuff and start selling it at rock bottom prices. Yet another biz opportunity!
