Update: Farmers Markets
Just because it’s cold out, that doesn’t mean the farmers’ markets aren’t jumping. Roberto and Ross of San Miguel Seafood at the Austin Farmers’ Market Downtown have Albacore Tuna from the gulf. It’s a white flesh tuna that we don’t see too often ($16/lb). Also, Flounder is back in ($12/lb). I love me some Gulf seafood!

New Favorite Blend at the Embassy
This is a view that I have grown familiar with lately. I’m a tea drinker, but with the weather like it is, I have been hitting it pretty hard. I’m sure there is a program somewhere that can help me. My current new favorite of the moment is the Tea Embassy’s new Breakfast blend. It’s not as strong as their C.S. Lewis and has a subtle grassy flavor. Tasty, it keeps me worm.
Lemon Cheese Chicken with Couscous
Here we have pan roasted chicken with a jacked-up Couscous. I keep forgetting about Couscous, but it is a quick and easy substitute for rice or potatoes. It’s a granulated wheat product that soaks up whatever flavors it comes into contact with. And, it cooks in seconds, literally, using the heat and steam from boiling water.
